Overview
I developed this platform together with my team as Computer Engineering Techniques students at Al-Hadhara University College. I was responsible for the full technical development, while our medical team supervised all medical and diagnostic content. Users upload an image of their lab test (CBC, Blood Chemistry, Hormonal, Urine Analysis, or other), and the "Medical AI Engine" analyzes it and returns a detailed report: general condition, priority level, key indicators, medical interpretation, and initial recommendations - with the option to download the result as a PDF.
Key features
Upload a test image (PNG/JPG/WEBP) for AI-powered analysis
Test type classification: CBC, Blood Chemistry, Hormonal, Urine Analysis, or Other
Patient name and additional notes input before analysis
Comprehensive result report: short description, general condition, priority, key indicators, medical interpretation, recommendations, and important alerts
Downloadable PDF result
Impact
An academic project bridging computer engineering and medical analysis, demonstrating a practical application of AI in diagnostic support - a collaboration between two departments at the same college.
Challenges
Ensuring the accuracy of medical interpretation extracted from an uploaded test image, and coordinating with medical analysis students on correct terminology and recommendations.
Solution
Built a "Medical AI Engine" that receives the test image, classifies it by type, and returns a structured report with condition and recommendations, downloadable as a PDF.
Results
The project's execution and design were highly praised by both the college and the supervising committee. I also received a letter of appreciation from the college in recognition of the project's excellence.
